3. Significant social media intermediaries must have a Chief compliance officer and nodal contact officer residing in India to perform the grievance redressal for users.

4. Monthly compliance reports have to be filed by social media platforms

5. Social media platforms must have provision for voluntary verification of users.

6. Social media intermediaries have to appoint grievance officer, who shall register complaints in 24 - hours.

1. Have to self - classify the content into five age - based categories: U (Universal), U / A 7+, U / A 13+, / A 16+, and A (Adult).

2. Platforms would be required to implement parental locks for content classified as U / A 13+ or higher, and implement reliable age verification mechanisms for content classified as.
